Contention Barn is a single storey cottage next door to a pub in the Cornish village of Penhallow. The cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen and sitting area. Outside is a private enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and off road parking. Just three miles from Perranporth and seven miles from Truro, Contention Barn is a lovely holiday cottage for any couple.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Enclosed garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 3 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: This cottage is situated behind the Plume of Feathers pub which is currently closed. |

Penhallow is a small hamlet in Cornwall, England, located not far from Perranzabuloe, Perranporth, St Agnes, Chacewater, Creegbrawse, and Wheal Busy and is one of over 250 towns and villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Truro and Plymouth.
As well as being a great location for exploring the Cornish coastline, Penhallow is also noted for the cyder which is brewed locally at Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm.
With the many excellent beaches of both north and south Cornwall in easy reach, as well as the terrain of Bodmin Moor, a visit here is well worth considering!
